By accessing or using the BG Labs service ("Service") at bglabs.app, including any APIs, embeddable scripts, plugins, or integrations, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
BG Labs provides a library of canvas-based background animations that can be embedded on websites via JavaScript loader scripts, iframes, or platform-specific plugins. The Service includes a web dashboard for configuring animations, an embed API, and platform plugins (e.g., WordPress).
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. Notify BG Labs immediately of any unauthorized use.
API keys are bound to authorized domains configured in your dashboard. You may not share, sell, or redistribute your API key. BG Labs reserves the right to revoke API keys that are misused.
You agree not to:
BG Labs offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Details are available at bglabs.app/profile. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access until that date.
No Refunds. All charges are final and non-refundable. Because the Service provides immediate access to digital tools and content upon payment, no refunds or credits will be issued for any reason, including partial months of service, unused features, or dissatisfaction. You are responsible for cancelling your subscription before the next billing cycle if you no longer wish to be charged.
BG Labs retains all rights to the animation code, embed scripts, and visual effects delivered through the Service. You retain all rights to your own website content. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

BG Labs strives for high availability but does not guarantee 100% uptime. There is no service-level agreement (SLA). Scheduled or unscheduled downtime, maintenance, or outages do not entitle you to refunds, credits, or compensation. Support is provided on a best-effort basis via email.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. BG Labs does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. You use the Service at your sole risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BG LABS, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, REVENUE, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
BG Labs is not responsible for any performance degradation, layout issues, rendering problems, or other effects caused by animations embedded on your website. You are solely responsible for testing animations on your site before publishing them to production.
In no event shall BG Labs' total aggregate liability exceed the amounts actually paid by you to BG Labs in the one (1) month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BG Labs, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or any content or animations you embed on third-party websites.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. BG Labs may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your API keys will be deactivated.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
